Directions to the School
Big Oak Wilderness School (BOWS) is located in eastern Williamson County, Tennessee, between the little towns of Nolensville and Triune, on state highway 31A-41A.
From the North
Take Nolensville Road (Highway 31A-41A) south to the town of Nolensville. After passing through the town you will see the Fire Department on your right. Go 3 miles past the fire station, look for Big Oak Road on the left. Turn left onto Big Oak Road, go 100 feet and turn right at the 7616 sign. Follow the road to the house, and park just off the driveway.
From the South
Take Horton Highway (Highway 31A-41A) north to the town of Triune. Go through the 4-way stop (north) and go 3.4 miles. Look for Big Oak Road on the right. Turn right onto Big Oak Road, go 100 feet and turn right at the 7616 sign. Follow the road to the house, and park just off the driveway.
From the East
Take State Route 840 West from I-24 near Murfreesboro, (or take Highway 96 West to the 4-way stop in Triune and turn right). Get off at Exit 42, turn right (north) and follow the directions for From the South.
From the West
Take State Route 840 east from I-65 near Franklin, (or take Highway 96 East to the 4-way stop in Triune and turn left). Get off at Exit 42, turn left (north) and follow the directions for From the South.
